I felt an open-hearted, warm feeling during church this morning. I love that I can and do feel that way. These people are a part of my family in the spirit. I love the building, but I’m not attached to it. Although I’m not dependent on the energy of acceptance, it is a prevailing presence. It is the combination of my acceptance for others and for myself, flowing in my experience and returning. It is God’s love expressed through the ordinary.

He had to be mean…
“He had to be mean to save him;
Harry belonged in the woods.”

My Man
My man
gives everything
with no guarantees
His eyes sparkle
he’s enthroned me in his heart
just under the Godhead
His angels speak my name
he’s a solitary man
he lets me go
I have freedom to be out and about
freedom that binds me to him
for life
My man
lets me do what I choose
and when I choose to leave home
with a man
for real fun
I choose him
